Share your EDGE Interactions
The EDGE® Innovation Network team wants to know about your successes with other EDGE members. Keep us up-to-date on who you are collaborating with and what the outcomes of your collaboration are. We will showcase EDGE member success stories here. An EDGE member success story means there are at least two (there can be more) EDGE members collaborating on a project to rapidly deliver new technologies and innovative capabilities to first responders, warfighters and end users.
Hear what EDGE members have to say in their own words:
"As a UK-based firm, with many of our 8,000 deployments classified or white-labeled by our Partners, we are extremely pleased with the EDGE's powerful collaboration and data sharing tool. The EDGE, after just over one week of membership, has already proven to be a highly effective medium, offering Envitia increased visibility in North America, allowing us to connect with multiple teams both inside General Dynamics and within the EDGE Innovation Network affiliate landscape.
"The Winter Institute provided real world scenarios to not only test existing technology, but also deliver an interactive environment to collaborate on the future of mission critical video and how it is collected, distributed, and analyzed in the operational environment. The on-site teamwork between VISLINK and other EDGE Partners created new synergies in cross-platform technology bringing interoperability to a new level by allowing first responders at all levels to develop an effective response by understanding 'The Big Picture'. VISLINK is proud to be an integral part of this event and the EDGE Innovation Network. We are energized by our continued collaboration with first responders, government agencies, partners and end users to create the next generation of communications networks and the supporting technologies." - Chris Gibbons, VP of Development at VISLINK.
"Events like the Winter Institute at Disaster City are critical to ensure that technology is meeting the needs of emergency response personnel. We were proud to have our onBoard Mobile Gateway included in this exercise to provide WiFi-Band 14 internetworking. This approach opens the door for literally millions of WiFi devices to be put to work on the Band 14 LTE network, allowing more first responders to access applications like Geosuite to provide mission critical situational awareness. We look forward to continuing to work with the EDGE community to enhance the capabilities of emergency personnel both in the field and in the command center." - Eldon Mast, In Motion Technology, Inc.
"The EDGE Innovation Network gave Coyote Crisis Collaborative access to premier vendors in the simulation industry who were responsive, capable, flexible, and relevant. We are thrilled to be a partner in the EDGE and believe it to be a solution for businesses internationally". - Deb Roepke, Coyote Crisis Collaborative
